Understanding stress through the Enneagram test

People have nine personality groups according to the division of the Enneagram test. Each Enneagram test group can be stressed by different issues. For example, type 1 people may feel stressed when their environment lacks order; type 4 people are easily overwhelmed by emotions.

Identify causes

By exploring the core drives and inner fears associated with their Enneagram personality, individuals can discover their stress patterns and understand why they react that way.

Develop healthy coping mechanisms

With awareness of our Enneagram type, we can develop healthy methods for dealing with stress. When problems have not yet developed into stress, try to minimize them or handle them first. When the problem has escalated to stress, practice relaxation, exercise, or seek support. For example, for type 4 people, who are easily overwhelmed by emotions, slow down and slowly deal with them; don't let unpleasant emotions accumulate.

In short, the Enneagram helps us understand what issues can develop into stress over different issues. From there, it helps us find ways to prevent and solve problems in the most satisfactory way.
